If you go to the local Facebook pages in Jackson that have the video, the breakdown by race is startling. The whites are all sorry as she was clearly disturbed but support the cops. Most, not all, but most of the blacks are raising hell, asking why they couldn't de-escalate.

Local FB pages get the trolls and loudmouths. Also, a lot of the loudmouths aren't from that area.

I imagine that most of the local blacks have no issue with her being dusted off.

Needless to say, the cop is pretty shaken up about it. Only shot he had was a head shot. No one wanted to take this woman out but they had no choice given the tactical situation

He’s laughing behind closed doors.

frick you. No he's not. Far from it. No one wanted to shoot her as it was clear she was in the middle of breakdown or on drugs. She walked in and just took a hostage, screaming for a news anchor

Clean shot this was have been a very easy one. She even turned her back a few times.

Feel sorry for the work just trying to make a living putting up with this crap.

Yes, no one wants to be the one to do this. When it is your job sometimes you have to do it.

I hope you wouldn't take the shot in that situation and miss killing the innocent hostage walmart employee

If I was a cop on scene for that incident, I can assure you, cocksure, that my single shot would hit the hostage taker precisely, -and safely for any bystanders or the victim,- on target.
