Your idea of a cop-out is when someone makes a statement and you can't rationally explain to them where you think they are wrong.

Really? Teacher? Social worker? Then you will know there are a whole host of very serious social pathologies there that we are all trying to deal with as a socity. The left's solutions just happen to not work and in fact make matters much, much worse.

I checked the internet. I don't see anything of note trying to accomplish this. What I did see is black on black crime on the rise. This is facts, not rhetoric.

so are all the out of state teams that play one of the Mississippi FBS or FCS schools, etc. College football is what they live for and they'll trade the Confederate Flag for that

When we speak of sides, and when we speak of "race relations" between whites and blacks, what are we speaking about?
What are white peoples grievances, historically and present day, against black people?
Lets start there, and when we discuss it, lets do a holistic discussion that encompasses factors from all parts of life, past and present.
It hardens the hearts of others because of their resistance and refusal to accept a few basic truths,that arent an indictment of them personally.
When we speak of sides, and when we speak of "race relations" between whites and blacks, what are we speaking about?
What are white peoples grievances, historically and present day, against black people?
Lets start there, and when we discuss it, lets do a holistic discussion that encompasses factors from all parts of life, past and present.

This is what it all boils down to. People like SS always have to have some symbol or someone to blame for all of their problems. It is always someone else's fault. They will never accept accountability while at the same time always deflecting to a boogeyman. They never want to acknowledge the real problems nor solutions to those real problems. It is that simple.

And the right has not made things better either and has made things worse as well. Let's not forget who controls the House.
I don't profess to have the answers. However, I can say with certainty that perpetuating myths is anti-solution. The very myth to which I responsed here and those to which I respond elsewhere.

SS is white and went to Catholic high in Baton Rouge. His family is wealthy, though not baller rich.
He has a cousin that has a bi racial kid or two. This makes him an expert on living the black experience.
Either him, or someone close to him has done something horrible to a black person in the fairly recent past. His new SJW lifestyle is considered some form of atonement.
When questioned about it, he usually glosses past those posts.

I can only speak for present day but the black race commits a WAY higher percentage of crime than any other race in the U.S. and a much higher % of the black race steals money from taxpayers than any other race. If the black races percentages in those categories were the same as whites then white racism would go away almost overnight.

Why would you even go here. I/we have tried over and over but you stick to some preconceived notions without giving any thought into what the other side has to say. When the discussion leans away from what you desire, you disappear. Just as on the national level, you think a conversation on matters is you lecturing the white unwashed masses.
