You went to Wando? Me too
Graduated in 2004, you? My step dad graduated in 80’s.
I lived in Longpoint neighborhood right next to Boone Hall Plantation.

Had a good friend in college in the 90s who was a Navy brat from Jacksonville. He always said he wanted the Navy to name another ship Enterprise just to mess up that scene in Star Trek where they have photos of the previous Enterprises. He's getting his wish.
Fun fact. If you look at the Newport News shipyard on satellite, you can see the old Enterprise being dismantled right next to the new Enterprise being built. They are using steel from her on her newer sister.

Could be as simple as this plane was a hangar queen that didn't get updated before the battle .
Just because it was on the ship doesn't mean it was FMC
Multiple planes found there had it. Not all were repainted w/in a month's time.

Yea I hated to see it go. I miss that stadium. I was on drumline in marching band and loved marching to that concrete monster. I met my wife at senior pictures at the photography place in Summerville that all the high schools went to. She went to Fort Dorchester. What year did you graduate? Did we go to school together?
It’s cool if you don’t want to give too much info here, I get it.
My blanket throw and yearbooks as some validation

And due to hanger size/ space restrictions they had entire aircraft and spares disassembled and hanging in the ceiling
