If you in a car and hit the pileup, hopefully you can get out before a truck smashes into you.

Only one truck (at the end of the video) came up slow and short.

Hearing the child call for "daddy" and crying was disturbing, though it looked like the child was scared not hurt thankfully.

Stuff like that is why I'm terrified to drive in cold weather like that. No thanks.

People drive like fricking retards every day on my way to work. It's scary how carelessly some people drive.

No body wanted to grab the red road flares from the Semi's? Could of placed them on the side of the highway up the road to grab some sort of attention.

Wait wait, too busy recording people die. I got it, thanks for standing by.

That's insane. Imagine what would happen if they didn't shut down the interstate when it snows down here.....

tketaco, that's exactly what my first thought was. Why would you possibly sit and continuously watch vehicle after vehicle smash into each other knowing it's not gonna stop.

Whoever just sat video'd it with no attempt to try and warn anyone, is a huge POS.

Might now been able to stop half of it but 150 could have been avoided

This is just dumb. What do you want him to do, run across into oncoming traffic in a snowstorm waiving his arms when no one can stop?

Blame those at fault. How about all the dumbass drivers who are driving too fast and aren't paying attention to what's going on ahead of them in these conditions?

What the hell would you have liked for him to do in a snowstorm on a highway where cars are unable to stop?

My bad fellas. You are right. Instead of even doing anything like walking straight across to try and check on anyone involved in the wreck, it's much better to stand there and do nothing and make dang sure it's on video.

I see it's normal now days to just video stuff and act like well it's of none of my concern to do a thing. But my like on FB from posting this video are gonna be epic

I would hate to think someone may have wanted some help

Dude, this isn't a mugging or theft.

This is 150 vehicles, each weighing 1000s of lbs, running into each other.

Cars...hitting each other at high speeds.

You do not run out into that.

why? He went to help and his video will help the police and insurance. A couple of trucks were going way too fast into that wreck.

Visibility is the main problem and that happens in foggy weather as well. Driving on snow isn't that bad, if the temp is below 28 degrees.

You have obviously never been in this type of situation. It's scary as shite and just too dangerous to do anything until it's over.

I always help people when I can, but it have a family to support that comes first and I'm not putting myself in that kind of danger while big rigs are still flying in at 40 mph.

That other poster has nothing to fear from large metal objects flying towards him uncontrollably.

Nothing could go wrong.
