fricking pissed. A good friend that literally had his fricking arm blown off in Iraq was told during the Obama years that he didn’t qualify for disability at his board of review. He took his prosthetic off and said well it isn’t fricking growing back so what do you expect me to do? Y’all hiring?

Did his experience change under trump? Because the VA is pretty much shite no matter who the president is.

It did, believe it or not. They reopened thousands of cases and many got the benefits they should have been receiving all along.
The VA is still so far behind in terms of quality care, and I agree completely. It should not now or ever become a partisan issue, but the reality is that during the Obama years, it was the worst it has ever been.

I don't think people who are not citizens should receive benefits..
With that said, this is somewhat off topic, but I hate that commercial of the dude who is running for governor and says "I gave Trump money and I even put his bumper sticker on my truck".

I thought the military had a systematic way of determining disability. Not sure what “qualifying for disability” means. It’s all determined by the amount of limbs/joints that are affected, as well as the brain (in regards to ptsd, etc).
