Vet recommendations in the Metairie area?

where do you take your pets? Willing to go to Kenner or nola, but metry would be preferable.

Lakeview Vet. Great people, and will go above and beyond. I use to go to Pet Care, but once they built that big building I felt the quality of service went south.

MSAH - the main hospital is on Metairie Road (like mentioned above.)
We go to the Lakeview clinic and are very happy with Dr. Baumer.

Dr. Norris, Ark Animal Hospital on Jefferson Hwy between Causeway and Clearview.
They are a little expensive (so is everyone else, though) but you can tell they genuinely love animals and it doesn't feel like they're just trying to fleece you.
Really nice people.

MSAH is good. Most of the vets are just fine. I would not go to them if there is a serious problem though (especially Baumer). If your pet has a serious condition, take them to Medvet on the northshore.
For ordinary care or basic emergency stuff, MSAH is great, so is Chris Forstall at his place in Bucktown and Dr Gary Levy in Lakeview.

Dr Patrick Mcsweeney. I've never been to him but I fill the prescriptions he writes and people love him.
