They don’t advertise as a vegan burger. They advertise as an Impossible burger.

Why do vegans always want their shitty meat replacement food to taste like meat?

I think that’s BK’s slam dunk defense.
No one ever said it was a “vegan” product.
Most companies who offer vegan food tend to have disclaimers or make special precaution.
Surely they foresaw a lawsuit from vegan groups and have a plan for this.

Businesses like this need to stay in their lane and stop trying to appease these retards. It will cost them way more in the long run.

See, if it was just beef I'd be fine. I prefer other red meats like venison, elk, bison, lamb, etc. anyway.

But that little fricker makes you allergic to ALL red meat. Rat bastard.

Williams could just not eat the burger and move on along. People will do all kinds of things to try to get a free buck.

Williams, a vegan, is claiming in the lawsuit that his Impossible Whopper – a plant-based alternative to the chain’s classic beef Whopper – was contaminated by meat byproducts because it was cooked on the same apparatus as beef Whoppers

In the vegan community this has been an issue all along. We've been talking about it for months. BK's previous meat free burgers were microwaved but the Impossibles are cooked on the same broiler as the regular burgers.

Carl's Jr. cooks their Beyond Meat burgers on the same grill as the normal burgers.

Plus in the ads BK shows the Impossible Burger with cheese and mayo which would make it no longer vegan.

The vegan community is split. Some are wringing their hands over it but about half don't care as it's broiled and their order isn't causing an animal to be destroyed.

Is BK marketing the Impossible Whopper as vegan? I haven't seen it.

FWIW the Impossible Whopper >>> regular Whopper. It's really solid.

Even Joey's World Tour says it tastes better than the original and that guy doesn't have a vegan bias.

Maybe don't eat at Burger King if he's that worried about cross contamination. Also it was never marketed to vegans but as more of a "healthier" option.

Common sense isn't for everyone. There will always be someone whining about something.
