Get several bags of frozen peas - keeping that on your scrote will definitely lessen the soreness. By all means take it easy - move as little as possible. Kick back in your recliner and watch TV all weekend, and for the love of all that's holy you do not want to get sexually aroused. You should be back at work Monday, have some minor soreness, and within a week or two be good to go. And oh yeah, before resuming relations with your wife, go back to the doc with a sperm sample to ensure all your swimmers have left the building. Then go back 6 months later to make sure your tubes didn't miraculously grow back together. Vasectomy is the best money I've ever spent.

I had mine done one December about 10 years ago, at the strong urging of my wife (at the time). Fast forward a few months later, she had an affair and we got divorced. Part of me thinks this was part of her plan - to prevent me from further procreating (which I did not want to do anyway).

Still glad I had it done - been banging various degrees of strange for 9 years and never have to worry about knocking any broads up.

All that being said, the procedure was not a big deal, but I was a little sore / achy for a while. Also seems like my baby batter loads are smaller, although that could be an age thing.

I officially sterile now. Have to check up in 3 months but all done.

Only little bit of pain so far was them numbing the area up which felt more like a small bug bite. I’m sure I will gear up for some discomfort but so far, it is still numb down there. Took about 10 minutes.

For those who have had it done recently, how much did it cost you out of pocket after insurance? I have gold plan BCBS. Just trying to get an idea
