Good luck with the daughter
.
Coming from a family of 4 boys, it's been a blessing.

My take: in a perfect world, people should be able to drink as much as they want, wear what they want, walk where they want, when they want....but let's face it, that isn't the case. For women (in this case) to ignore the fact that they have to be aware of their surroundings, because some men believe they are easy prey, is irresponsible. Should you be assaulted because your skirt is too short, or you were walking after dark, or you got too drunk? Absolutely not. I have firsthand experience, and I can see both sides, very clearly.
Consent is not a form that is signed, and the complexities of human sexuality are immense. Both parties should be respectful and aware. But knowing that people are neither means your instincts should remain keen, or if you intend to lessen those senses with alcohol, have a friend or a plan.
