Vader’s Model Desk: Sd.Kfz 234/3

The Sd.Kfz. 234 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 234, Special Purpose Vehicle 234), was a family of armoured cars designed and built in Germany during World War II. The vehicles were lightly armoured, armed with a 20, 50 or 75 mm main gun, and powered by a Tatra V12 diesel engine.[3] The Sd.Kfz. 234 broadly resembles the appearance of Sd.Kfz. 231 (8 rad).

Thanks glad you like it. I picked this kit up at a model show last year. I’m not exactly sure how old it is but I think it’s from the 1980s. I was worried the decals would be dried out but they did fine.

Knowing I bother them gives me great joy.

Where do the tracks go on that one?

Don’t think it would fly with tracks.

Hey Vader, I took up model building partly because of your posts. I've completed one and am working on another. They both suck, but I can see some improvement in the second. I enjoy building them and besides, I needed something to do to run the clock on bad weather days.

Those Germans loved designing new vehicles, didn’t they?
Nice work!

I just wondered aloud yesterday when Vader’s next model post would be. My lady was like, what? I showed her & she said “oh that’s cool”

Nice one Darth. Not my favorite of your collection, but haven’t seen one you’ve done that I didn’t like.
