That is an excellent point thank you. I suffer from severe anxiety and recently self-diagnosed PTSD. I can literally feel the air leaving my lungs when I see someone without a mask and I struggle to breathe. The vaccine HAS to be MANDATORY.

Until such a time as we have the vaccine readily available to everyone, might I suggest a therapy llama? In addition to being comforted during your stressful times, you could train them to spit on people who aren't wearing masks.

This kind of attitude is quite frankly sickening. We should all be lining up to take the vaccine. If nothing else than being a glorified guinea pig... they won't know if the vaccine actually works unless we all take it. Might there be side effects? Possibly... but that pales in comparison to the good that will be done by defeating this horrid virus. Shut up and take the vaccine.

The virus is real. However, it is not deadly for over 99% of the population that is not immune compromised or sickly, frail or elderly. I think we have all figured this out by now.
I think we also have figured out the they have been lying to us and hyping this thing for political purposes. The reality is, the CDC web site says that there are only roughly 28-30k deaths from Covid alone. The 275,000 death number is completely disingenuous, as it includes Hospice patients, cancer patients, elderly, pneumonia, diabetes, drunk driving, opioid overdoses, alzimers, and other weakening conditions.
I promise you this, 5-10 years from now, you will be watching your TV, and hearing the, "were you a part of the 1st round of Coronavirus vaccinations? You are entitled to compensation. Contact the scumbag law firm of blah, blah, blah . . . . . . . . . .. . . ." - uh, mesotheliama anyone?
I was in the military. I was dumb enough to give up all my rights to the government once, and that was plenty enough of an experience for me to know that the government is never going to stick me with a needle ever again. Good Luck out there. Keep your head on a swivel.

It’s not a live vaccine. And we’ve been working with the technology involved (mRNA) since the 1990s. It was developed with pandemic response in mind. I know people who were in the very first Moderna trial and got their first doses on March 16th. They still have antibodies today.
