Would you be ok with a company mandating its employees to take an experimental drug? Or get a tattoo? Or change religious beliefs?
But I would fire a guy who’s religion involved harming others or his religion hindered productivity.

So employment isn’t a basic human right as you insinuated?
Are you high?? I never insinuated that. I said coercion into altering my body or lose my career, insurance, means of supporting my family, is unethical and immoral.

why not fire smokers? they need a 15 minute smoke break every hour. surely that cuts into productivity.
or pregnant women? they just get 3-6 months of vacation paid for by the company? what do i do with that position for 3-6 months?

I think it’s time to address the questionable early treatment protocols doctors are using on patients. Maybe they need to do a tad more than send you home and tell you to go to the hospital when you think you’re worse. By then it’s too late.
You damn right. This exactly. It’s absolutely mind boggling the stupidity going on.

Really? That's your stance? My lack of a vaccine is harming others? Hindering productivity? I work from HOME jackass.

Then take a look at last year when doctors were late to realize that putting Covid patients on ventilators was not such a good idea.
You might want to try to have a conversation with an ICU doc about that. It is far more complex of a situation than you make it sound.
Venting didn't kill them lack of effective therapeutics is what left vents as a last-ditch measure. Through trial an error which is expected for a novel virus that didn't respond like most respritory viruses super high flow O2, ECMO and bipap began to move themselves to the front of the line. Early COVID patients got a bad roll of the dice, they crapped out when there was basically no information on the disease and they were literally guinea pigs but all the doctors could do is shoot their best somewhat blind shot.

So the CDC says it doesn't alter DNA. The article says that DNA alteration is unknown and some scientists believe it does.
See how that's DIFFERENT? Jesus man are you that obtuse?

what about the Indians in the Help Desk center who spend an hour a day in the Prayer Room? You firing them too?

Yes and no. What does it matter if all employees do or don't?

Yes and no? So you don’t strictly work from home? It matters how all employees are treated. Folks want to talk about wrongful termination.
A big ol reason for being sued is inconsistent application of policies.

It was a poorly written article if you look at the link that they suggested supported DNA reverse transcriptase it was actually about the COVID virus itself not the vaccine. The person they quoted said there was no evidence of reverse transcriptase. But he did discuss the possible ability to use mRNA viruses designed for the purpose and how revolutionary it would be.
Find a scholarly article, hell even a preprint that supports the idea DNA can be altered. There is just no mechanism present in the two mRNA that could allow them to cross the cell membrane.

I'm not SEEKING employment. I AM employed.

It's coercion into a violation of basic human rights.
We should force employers to hire and maintain employees who refuse to comply with policy?
quote:Why would I do that?
Would you be ok with a company mandating its employees to take an experimental drug?
quote:Or that?
Or get a tattoo?
quote:Or this?
Or change religious beliefs?
quote:Again I see that you feel entitled to your current position. You are not. Companies change policies all the time.
If the mandate was "all new employees must be vaxxed then fine. But to force people to alter their own bodies or lose their entire careers is unethical and immoral and you know it.
quote:I am ok with companies enacting policies which promote health and safety among their employees and customers. This is kind of SOP, much of it required by law.
And again you ignore the question. I asked if you were ok with companies doing that.

They don't have to allow exceptions for extra break time. You can't claim "religion" to get around any legal policy that you want.
They don't get "extra break time", but they can have their breaks scheduled to accommodate their religion.
