He was given the 72K raise. If he does not make it known, the the assumption is he took the raise. Also, you do realize this is a public university where salaries are public knowledge

Dr. Bennett has been great since he started at USM. Some things I disagree with him about (certain money allocation) issues. But, the guy gives a lot of shits about Southern and Hattiesburg. After the Tornado in '12 he came out to help students clean up and worked around the clock with member of the Greek community to go out into the community and help with the clean up. Hell, I lived off 20th ave and he bought me breakfast several times and help me move stuff when my home was basically dome for. Thank you Dr. Bennett, SMTTT
