I never told them they couldn't say it I stated the fact that they do is mind boggling.

Using skin color to determine who can use the N word is racist.

If black can use it but white can't, that's a racist viewpoint. The word is clearly not that offensive if it's ok to throw it around in every rap song, black movie or comedy act. Oh but if whitey does it, even if it's not in a racist context, it's a crime.

Does this include long term colonization?

Its clearly a joke and shes in a private setting

How is it CLEARLY a joke? Since she's in private, it's probably an accurate reflection of how she feels.

Not saying she should have been suspended, but come on.

And also some who tend to see blacks as "them" or those people.

So, a fairly typical day on the OT.

Well to be fair, he is probably leaving so what exactly are they going to do to him...

I like how everyone who knows the difference between what the girl in the OP wrote and what Harrison said either has white guilt or is a white apologist keep reaching, guys. I pray for all the old white me in here who feel so oppressed. Maybe one day you guys will get to drop the n word like a Samuel L. Jackson movie without being judged. God knows how bad you guys wish you could

i thought of that earlier but didnt even bother opening that can of worms. It's funny how everyone is so quick to write this up as a joke without even knowing the girl and or what she thinks of black people.

Does she literally think black people are the reason her wifi sucks? No. But maybe this girl really does blame other things on "n**gers".

Like I said earlier, had this been a black girl blaming crackers for spotty wifi, there probably wouldn't be many here quickly writing it off a joke. We've already seen how easily a black reporter (who I think is a race-bating attention whore btw) can get under the skin of some posters here.

I also thought it was a joke when the Kentucky player said what he said about that goober from Wisconsin.

The context here is the entire list. It's all a joke. She probably can't even define "ratchets" without starting the sentence with "it's like..." I'm not trying to petition the community to let white people say the n word, but come on. Her face is filled with jest, however ignorant she may be.

Which USC is this? I'm sure it matters to some people.

I find it hilarious that some white people remotely care about this. I am pretty sure the only ones who get their panties in a bunch, are the ones who wish they could use it with out recourse. I am positive "the blacks" would trade that word to you in exchange for your ability to not get profiled by every authority figure in the country.

Suspended is slap on the wrist. As a matter of fact an actual slap on the wrist would have been more punishment than suspended

i don't think he was joking really, it's just people spent more time being mad at the fact he said the n word instead of him actually insulting the guy. The n word in what Harrison said would be the exact same as anyone else would say "frick that guy" or "frick that dude"

yeah i honestly believe it's more than likely a joke tbh. Just doesn't mean I can 100% guarantee you it is. If I wanted to make a list of things to blame on shitty wifi, and make an attempt at humor, writing n**gers would be the last thing on my mind. The fact that even crossed her mind should tell you people shouldn't be so quick to write it off as a joke

The girl from the Reveille posted a satirical and sarcastic article on April Fools Day directed towards white people, and I guarantee no one wanted to hear how much of a "joke" it was

I'm sure getting profiled undeservingly is a pain in the arse. And it shouldn't be that way. But if there are nothing but foxes getting in the hen house, you shouldn't pay equal attention to armadillos, foxes, squirrels and possums. You should pay more attention to the foxes. If there are Arab Muslims blowing up planes you should pay more Arabs boarding planes. If there are necked tatted, scrawny white trash shitheads cooking all the meth you go after the cricket toothed frickers. Black folks commit most of the crime. By a whole lot. Argue the situations they grow up in, past injustices and whatnot as a way of somewhat defending their actions, but don't ignore the fact that they are, by a wide margin, the ones breaking the law the most. Which really sucks for a lot of black people who are great human beings.
