Surprisingly, Louisiana State University is not located in New Orleans but in the more provincial and friendly village of Baton Rouge, located a three day pirogue journey up the Mississippi River.

Yeah, back in college me and my roommates drove from BR to Taos, NM for a weekend ski trip. I'm pretty sure if you add up all the hours we were gone, most of them were in the state of Texas,

I always love encountering this sign on I-10 going thru Orange, Texas:

Lets you know right up front what you’re up against.

In 1927, a fly ball that bounced over the wall was a home run. None of Babe Ruth's home runs that year were bounces.

In a group of just 23 people, there is a greater than 50% chance of at least two people sharing a birthday.

If I’m not mistaken, 1 out of his 60 that year was an inside the park variety that year, though.

Wouldn't it become 4?

If Trump wins, Biden would have succeeded his successor.

The state with the most sides is Colorado, it has 697 sides,

Congress defined the borders of Colorado as a geospherical rectangle, stretching from 37°N to 41°N latitude, and from 25°W to 32°W longitude.

Problem is lines of latitude are parallel, but lines of longitude aren't. Consequently, the state’s northern borderline is about 22 miles shorter than its southern one. The survey team was unaware so they kept zig-zaging when the numbers didn't match.

Pretty sure midgets are still technically banned from MLB and I would love to see a baseball game of nothing but midgets playing on a little league field.
