US wokeness v rest of the world

I was in Costa Rica for a week, all last week, and it was great. There was zero wokeness. No political BS, no one being offended by dumb shite, no cancel culture, and no major crime, just petty theft here and there. One drunken Floridian woman tried to start crap in the bar by getting people’s opinion on George Floyd (screaming her own opinion at everyone) and it didn’t go over well and she got thrown out almost immediately. Because no one cares there. It opened my eyes to how screwed we are as a nation, and how strange we are overall. Has anyone been anywhere else where this was similar and cancel culture was nonexistent? Or is it just us here in the US?

Americans are spoiled and we have no clue how much.
These people who preach wokeness know nothing about the places and people they are fighting for.
Your average person in the world is struggling to get by and just wants to live a peaceful life. We've gone full retard in the U.S. and most people doing this shite have no real clue what struggle is our what is looks like.

It makes me laugh when our people (conservatives, mostly) whine about woke types in Europe without realizing we created and exported almost everything the public thinks of as woke ideology.
America is the biggest exporter of bad ideas in the world, and it's not really close at the moment

Visiting a tourist destination for a week doesn’t give you a full picture of the overall condition of the country.

This. USA is the greatest country in the world. We have our faults. But just try to get decent health care or education or even consistent electricity in some of these “non-woke” countries.

I know we're not a force of good. I think it's hilarious (in a shitty way) we're preaching to Russia about war when we just pulled out of a 20 year war in the middle east and we're directly supporting the people they're fighting against.
We're a joke, I know, but some of the ideas that came from communism and Naziism may beat anything we've done, just to name a couple.

By all means, please point me something akin to nearly all of the institutions of one of the most developed countries in the world promoting (especially to children):
- The idea that your race is actually your most defining characteristic and nearly everything bad that can happen to you is attributable to your race. Moreover, if you're of the majority race, you're inherently problematic simply through your existence.
- The idea you gender is malleable and severe mental illness should be not only embraced but celebrated. We'll cheer your transition right up to your eventual suicide.
We're collectively unwinding decades of CBT by teaching kids to catastrophize - It's absolutely insane and uniquely American (although it is now taking root elsewhere).
