People have lost everything trying to sate their hunger for the next win - houses, savings, families, and more. Case in point: 46-year-old Ryan Cortez was arrested this week in Kenner Louisiana, accused of stealing more than $630,000 from his employer in order to support his gambling problem.

More indicative of how big of a shithole Kenner (and the Southshore, for that matter) is. Can that place get anything right?

I got a family member who works at USPS and is close to retiring. I told him about a package I got and it shipped it to my city, then shipped it back out of the city, and then back to the city. I was asking why all those shipping it in and out when it already reached the place? He said that the more scans they get, which they are supposed to scan when they arrive and leave, can show that their department needs more employees, which means that they get more money. So to recap they were 'bumping up' their scanning numbers, to make it look like they need more help, which means more money.

So the post office sucks because someone stole from them?

Has anyone ever stolen from you? It kinda seems that way to me.

Ask your family member what would happen if I put the receiver's address in the sender's location on an envelope, put the sender's address in the receiver's location on the envelope, and then mailed the envelope without a stamp.

This time of year...it would likely end up in the same throwaway section where they put the DEAR SANTA letters.
