What are their profit margins compared to other industries? Check that out, and then get back to me on why people should hate them.
Nobody bitches about the sky high cost of an iPhone.

Amen.... Also, compare cost of milk per gallon, what would a gallon of energy drink be?
I wish oil would stay between $68 - $72 a bbl.
I work for EOG Resources, we have our cost per bbl at $44, so anything over that, we are making profit. We have been able to cut cost by having our own mud department, electrical department, construction department, machine shop etc. These were risky by industry standards, but we have found a way to make it work.

Yeah everyone needs to go look at the supermajor career websites. There’s 400% more wells/subsurface engineering and geotechnical positions than in the US. I work with these folks and one day this will backfire spectacularly.

Seems they are realizing they didn't need all the people they acquired when buying all those smaller companies.
Right - some of those people were redundant.
