The doctor group she will be working with does internal medicine. I said in my post she isn't working nights but I misspoke. She will work 7 on and 7 off. One week out of every 4 she works will likely be nights but that's one week every two months if I understand correctly.

Accountant at 53?
A lot of variability in that profession. Regardless of position, I can see why it's not all that high.
If you're a lower level staff accountant in industry, you should be concerned for your job security because bots are coming.
If you work at a large firm, your quality of life probably sucks and the pay isn't really worth it until at least senior manager.
Once you climb high enough you deal with less shite and you get to witness the degenerate behavior of some C-Suite guys. Good times.

This list is stupid.
My wife is a combo of #34 and #71, while my job isn’t even listed (high-tech sales).
She works longer hours than me with ungodly amounts of stress, and has the burden of having to separate some of the terrible shite she hears on a daily basis from impacting her own life with me and the kids.
Meanwhile, I sit here and make about 4x as much with limited stress, and I can check out mentally from work the second I leave my office.
Also, fricking restaurant cook is a top 100 job? Come on man.

Thanks. And I know man. I interviewed twice before and just asked when I didn’t get it the first two times, to keep me notified if they have any more openings and finally they offered me a spot

Eh I’d rather not say. Wouldn’t mind telling you personally if that were possible.
A couple of Pharmacists that I worked with while I was in school made the retail to hospital jump and they all got on between December-February.
Seems like most of your new grads aren’t looking at this point, and your ones in residencies still have another 3-4 months. Seems like this is the time period to switch.
The whole reason I went to pharm school was because I had hopes of opening an independent like my uncle had. It just seems like its a tough market with reimbursements right now. Hope you guys are doing alright. Its awful what CVS is doing to the market right now
