I agree, but if this was a Biden or Obama admin people would be losing their shite.

I can only imagine how much you posted about gas prices when anyone other than Trump was in office. You must have been dismayed and disgusted at the prices.

I didn't even know gas existed before Trump drove the price up last week.

Is it over 4.00 like it was under Biden?

Will you come back next week and start another thread when it falls?

It’s almost as if there was an event people were prepping for that drove up demand across half the country.

Gas prices should drop next week then. Everyone is staying at home because of the bad storm.

What is wrong with some of yall? The OP starts this thread almost every week as well as many other oil and gas related subjects and rarely provides much commentary.

Gas prices never drop. They only go up. The OP's article proves this.

Here's my commentary on this one.

Iran looks to be in chaos, and it got fricking cold in the United States over the weekend.

Some impacts due to turnaround season and seasonal drop in refining capacity.

Traditionally these weeks are where gas prices begin a slow build back to summer season.

I paid $2.09 at Murphy in Meridian MS last night. It was too cold to mess around w putting in my Walmart+ code to get the price down to $1.99

We have a pretty decent gas war going on in our area with a relatively new chain (Parker’s) and their club price a week ago Saturday was $2.09 at the one closest to me. It was $2.39 Friday and $2.59 Saturday. Back down to $2.29 today. Ice storm demand I guess. Nothing more than market forces but it is still aggravating LOL.

Paid the same price at Costco yesterday as I did 2 weeks ago.

So not at my place.
