As long as a parent is gainfully employed and they aren’t on welfare, there should be massive incentives for couples to reproduce.
Should be a reduction in federal income taxes until you ultimately get to 0% or something like that.
Maybe make it tied to income such that we incentivize those earning more to have more kids

In the baby boomer generation and prior, you assumed you were popping out healthy kids that would have a successful life and would take care of you when you got older. Today, there's about a 50/50 chance things won't go that way. People don't need for their offspring to require major help of some sort throughout their lives for various reasons or turn against the parent eventually. Then consider you get a healthy child, the odds your not going stay with the partner and they and their family/friends become a problem is prevalent. People aren't staying married today and most of us aren't wired to stay with the same person forever. Name about any scenario and kids are about a 50/50 risk of being more trouble emotionally, logistically, financially etc than worth. Some "quality" people view it like they aren't sure they can afford it.
That's not what the majority think about though unless it's subconsciously. Declining birth rate is based on male+female in the 18-35 range aren't having sex at the same rate they used to. They aren't meeting and dating at the same rate. You're always gonna have families started based on M+F meets at school, work, social groups, through friends, or neighborhood which is how women want to meet and start family. But if that doesn't materialize there's a great chance you're not having kids if your relying on chance encounters or internet meets.
My observations the last few years is that most boys under about 30 don't even appear to be interested in meeting females unless something easy falls in their lap

It’s the toxic food & big pharma aiding the depopulation agenda.
Look at how many people got covid shots pregnant! Look how much stillbirths & miscarriages skyrocketed in the jabbed.

I reject stats is very interesting.
You watch too much tv. I live in reality and go by what I am actually seeing out in the real world. Most of you are lead by tv or podcasts.
Look if you think all is good, good for you. Good luck

When tax money has gone to fund it, it matters.

You are one of those people, I see your game now.

Living with parent. That’s about right.

Wish I did it longer, saved a ton of money after college living at home and working in the same town. My ego didn’t allow it for longer than 9 or so months.
It sucks but generally it’s a good decision if you can stomach it. Beats pissing $1200 a month away on rent

Sometimes it isn’t about money.
Sometimes it’s about proving to yourself that you can do it.
I believe in pain. I believe in struggle. That’s the way.
But agreed on the saving part 100%

When people say this i know they don't know what real pain is.
"Adversity" is the word you're looking for.

You talk out both sides of your mouth. You praises Mexicans for shoving generations into a shoe box in gulfton and tell young people they don’t need to live like kings/save money
Then shite on young people who are saving money

Yup, I don’t know what pain is.

I didn’t. I agreed with the saving money.
Dude life is long. You go through periods where you can’t save or can save more. It’s a balance. Sometimes you have to challenge yourself.
Everyone is at different stages in their lives. An immigrant is not a good comparison to a US citizen who’s been here 4 generations. I expect more out of the American who’s been here.

Well being 20s, single, working in the same town as your parents is the perfect time to save.
If you don’t think it’s a struggle living at home, you’ve never tried to fire off a girl at a bar then have to explain why we have sneak thru the back door
“No you don’t understand it’s a good thing I am saving for a down payment”
No one wants to do that. I sure as hell didn’t but it was a nice luxury to have when I was making 60k and working 12 hour days.
Btw, I had already lived on my own for a few years at that point. Just happened to get a job back home in Houston so it made the most sense
