I always felt like the neighbor filming got a bad deal, but he is guilty of murder based on how the law is written.

I think they honestly believed the video would help them. If he had gotten a better angle when Arbery pointed the gun at them, then it probably would have.

idk, their case boiled down to " my life was threatened because arbery almost stole the gun that I was pointing at him"

If they had gotten a better angle showing Arbery attacking and grabbing for the shotgun it probably would have helped them.

Apparently, it’s just presumed that any white on black crime is a hate crime now.
These guys made the mistake of trying to act as citizen security, but how can it be shown beyond a reasonable doubt that they chased Aubrey because he was black, and not because they believed he had committed a crime?

I've found it usually limits how often someone can try to grab your shotgun away from you, if you simply don't point guns at strangers you have no business pointing a gun at

They went through their phones and found the n word in text messages. That’s when they decided to charge them with a hate crime. If they went through the phone records of every black that’s ever killed a white they’d find the same shite, but they don’t.
