Listened to a little bit of Robert Barnes today and he sounds like this is the beginning of something good and hopeful, but I can't tell if he's just trying to sell me a bunch of bullshite, though.

The two-party system is responsible for the $25 trillion debt, our insane foreign policy, the fleecing of the American taxpayer, the largest spying apparatus in world history and a political class that leeches off the American public and gets filthy rich in the process. But libertarians are the problem
Wealthiest counties in the country surround DC. Wonder why.

I’m sorry you don’t like people that want the government to minimize your tax burden and otherwise leave to you live your life, save you keeping others from doing the same

The lawyer? He’s a charlatan. Don’t put any stock into what he has to say.

Not even the tax burden, but just the federal government to frick off.
Why am I concerned with the feds telling me how to grade a damn steak from the neighborhood butcher. So absurd.

Do you know what kind of chaos we would descend into if barbers weren't required to be licensed?

I currently attend a membership socialclub to get my hair trimmed.
Toya can't govern the activities of a fellow member trimming my bangs.
Although trimming these beautiful things could be considered a crime.

Everything that has gone on to create this environment we are in is due to people using social media as a weapon.
I think everyone overlooks the power of social media and the influence it has. It allows people to pick what information they want to share. It allows people to spread their conspiracies.
And Trump understands the power of social media. The other day he tweeted over 100 times within 24 hours. I always thought presidents were busy and wouldn't ever have the time to tweet all day.
He has undertones in his tweets and knows there is a group of his supporters who are extremely loyal to him. This is how he operates in business. He only keeps people around him who are extremely loyal to him. People who are willing to do anything, even if it is illegal.
He single handedly caused the USFL to break up in the late 80s. He owned a team, but wanted to be president of the league. When the league voted against him being president, he did some damaging things that eventually caused the league to break up.
He tried to buy the Buffalo Bills a few years before running for president and the other owners voted against him being able to buy the team (because of his reputation of mishandling projects, filing for bankruptcy 5 times, etc). So when he was president, the first opportunity he had to try to damage the NFL, he went after it.
He pushed the whole "stop watching the NFL because of kneeling" and when the kneeling stopped, he tweeted something about the players who started kneeling as a protest to what he tweeted and that just threw more fuel on people being mad at the NFL.
This is a man who grew up in a wealthy family and was never told no in his life. If he doesn't get his way he will go after whoever is preventing him from getting it.
