I understand there's an extremely low chance of another shooting at a theater happening. But Im not seeing this movie in theaters for the first 3 weeks.

Statistically unlikely
So then why are you worrying about it?
You could be hit by a car tomorrow. A piano could fall on you. You could trip over a cat and break your neck.
Then again, none of those make for flashy news stories that elicit knee-jerk emotional responses.

Generally how?
He's not involuntarily celibate. He fricks Harley Quinn. He is so charming and manipulative he convinced a well-regarded psychiatrist to abandon her career, life and sanity to become his personal frick toy and sidekick.
THat's the very opposite of an incel.
He's a murderous, manipulative psychopath.

I’m not. I just said that it sucks to have to consider it a possibility.

I consider the possibility of being hit by another driver while driving so I take necessary precautions. I assume I’d do the same for walking underneath a piano and walking by a cat. None of those events are particularly salient, though, given that they aren’t murder.

Car crashes make news all the time. They’re common, too. If we suddenly saw an increased incidence rate of car crashes it would absolutely be more newsworthy. I feel like you’re arguing against a point that no one is making.

Just watch it at a Magic Johnson Theater...problem solved.

Okay, I'll counter with the literal billions of other movie screenings that occured without issue over nearly a century.

Okay. Now we’re exactly where we were before with this being an unlikely, but possible event. Glad you got that out of your system, though.

Its short for involuntary celebate. Elliot Roger (the Ilsa Vista mass shooter) was one.

You're making a point that the possibility of a mass shooting at the Joker viewing is a thing.
It's not.

Of fricking course it is

A lot of things are possible. Should we prepare for every single possibility?

So is tripping over a cat and breaking your neck.
Possible? Sure. Likely? Not even remotely.
Much like being involved in a mass shooting.

I see you can't actually answer his question.
Carry on barner, carry on.

What's confusing about that?
It's happened what, once ever? In about 100 years?
Yeah, let's prepare for the virtually non existent possibility statistically speaking.
