Only blueprints are classified? I had no idea.

Quit being dense, drew. There's a reason I threw in "and shite." I'm not about to list every little thing that could be classified.

Why don't you tell me exactly what that brings to the table in the grand scheme?
In the grand scheme of things flexible platforms win out. You do understand that those bombers carry several types of weapons our subs don't? Then there is survivability. ICBMs and SLBMs launches are easily detected and can expect an enemy strike to that position. A long range stealth bomber can give an offensive first strike without detection and without being detected, a counterstrike is out of the question.

And do you think our boomers are more likely to be found and destroyed after launch than a bomber?

You think the F-35 is the way it is purely because the Air Force? That's cute
The F-35 is an example of what happens when you try to get a weapons system to be all things to all branches of service.
Are you exactly going to attempt to defend that cash cow?

This post makes more sense. Your previous one blaming the air force was moronic.

im just laughing at the context in which it was used (a navy vs af message board fight).
Fair enough.

Also, the B-2 ran on conventional jet fuel. The newer model can have tax dollars fed directly into it for propulsion.
Never have I bumped a thread for a comment...
