Upright freezer question

I left my freezer open for 12 hours. 1” crack in door. Nothing defrosted that cause be to lose anything. I have a thermometer in it that says 0 degrees but this morning some roux peas still are soft. Most stuff Was frozen. Any ideas

It's too hot. The shite won't freeze and harden enough to seal the door properly. I suggest going to eat some Taco Bell. That should get you the industrial grade stuff you need.

OK you need to listen close. You need to take everything Oh your freezer now
Put into ice chests
Take back panel off from inside freezer
Defrost coils with heat gun.
Replace panel and put stuff back I
