Right? It was actually closer to $4500 but we had to pay a deposit.

I'm not always on point, but my guestimate would have been almost exactly that (approx 5k)

Can anyone with experience comment?

How much should getting a nice sized house (4k sq ft) painted?

I would have thought that was reasonable.

My house is 2 story 3800 sq ft all wood/ hardy board siding and I’ve gotten quotes from $8k to $30k. Guess just depends on size of house, location, how much sanding , caulking and type of house etc

Eta my house is over 100 years old so it needed more work than usual.

So they’re working through their process and haven’t actually closed it out yet. How have they stolen it from you?

I do hope they sue you for the title of your post

I did let him know we will be pulling all our money out and switching banks because of the poor customer experience but something tells me they don’t care. Just glad I got my money back.

Bloomberg just put WF on insolvent notice.

How will WF survive when it's assets are reduced by
0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

Just messing with you, but seriously we do not care.

Well you got your money back. You still going to pull out?

Update- received a call from WF this morning from some manager/president dude apologizing and letting us know it has all been settled. I did let him know we will be pulling all our money out and switching banks because of the poor customer experience but something tells me they don’t care. Just glad I got my money back.

So the whole issue was solved in less than 24 hours, and you didn't incur any financial loss?

Who would give a written check in this situation?

When someone says we will take off 1.5% if you write us a check would send an alarm ringing for a 60.00 savings?

Probably because of savings for a credit card transaction fee.

Businesses do this all the time.

So in less than 24 hours they fixed it and you are complaining? Did I miss something?

That's seems shortsighted and rather rash of you. Less then 24 hours to correct an honest mistake?

You also need to change your title to accurately reflect what actually happened. May I suggest "Wells Fargo made a mistake but promptly fixed it, but I'm a douchey whiner and am going to switch banks anyways."

That may be, but not in this instance. Overall, yeah, they aren't the best.

Why would they? This thread made me have more respect for WF than I did before reading it. Bravo to WF for providing outstanding customer service in this situation. I wouldn't want to work with you anymore either if I were them.
