We've always lived in a world with morons. Twitter just makes everyone think that they're important. If people just were kind to each other in their own lives, worked hard, provided for themselves and their loved ones and minded their own damn business we wouldn't have tons of shite like this.

Crazy how if you read through the AG's report you find an instance mentioned where this almost exact scenario takes place at an earlier date involving Sterling and the BRPD. Just so happens that his gun fell out of his waistband during the confrontation with BRPD. If it didn't fall out, I ponder as to if he would have been reaching for it then? This guy has a history of felony criminal activity - all while carrying guns. Shame on some people for taking up for this guy as if he were an outstanding and productive citizen.

Its frustrating to watch people continuously comment on stuff before even educating themselves on what actually happened.
Its like no one has common sense anymore

Let's be absolutely clear: Alton Sterling was on his back, vulnerable, presented no clear threat, and had two grown men, trained police officers, on top of him. A white person in that position would not have been shot. Period.
Um . . .

6 entry wounds and no exit wounds? What caliber weapon do BR cops use?
Not so much about caliber as it is about the type of ammo being used. Cops probably had hollow point rounds. Hollow point ammo expands on impact, causing more damage but less penetration. Full metal jacket doesn't expand on impact and goes through the target more, so higher odds of an exit wound.

It's basically futile. When I initially saw the video I thought to myself oh my god that looks terrible. But as the facts have come out it's just hard to justify feeling bad for this man. He abused women and children and clearly was a menace to society. He illegally possessed a weapon and continuously kept escalating the situation. I really don't know what the officers were supposed to do in that situation. I don't think it's a hard conclusion to jump to he was reaching for his gun.

Most test don't even detect the low levels of cocaine present in his system.
I think his BAC made him legally able to drive and in Colorado he would have been below THC limits.
The amphetamine level he had ( it was 290, and a level in the range of 200-600 means the person is at level of irrational and violent thinking. It can make them harder to take down and subdue too.)
I just read the entire 34 page report and that fact stood out to me.
Also, a few years before this incident, he was involved in an eerily similar crime and interaction with officers (as far as HIS behavior, showing an intent to threaten people with guns, resist arrest, fight officers, etc).
The big difference in THAT incident was that his gun fell from his waistband and so that threat from him was neutralized and he lived. A smart person would learn from such experiences but not Alton.
Sometimes stupidity is lethal. He was basically so criminally stupid and unredeemable that there was little doubt that someone was gonna die in an interaction with him (citizens or cops).

And pay attention to those family lawyers. They're going to stick on what Blaine said. As if had Blain not said it, this would never have ended like it did. If anything, the report showed that the only time Alton was compliant was when Blaine got forceful with words and pointed his gun at him. But don't let that distract from Alton resisting before Blaine ever even showed up... that they tried to use tasers... TWICE!... or that he was given verbal warnings over and over. None of that matters because Blaine was too close when he pointed his gun at Alton and Blaine said "fricking".

It seems to be a major issues everywhere. No one allows for all the information and other facts to come out before we scold and ruin peoples lives.
They take it and run with it, its all they see

Getting fired is the best outcome for these cops. They would never be able to continue to be cops in Baton Rouge, or South Louisiana. Now, they can sue and get compensated well while going into another field, or moving to a smaller community
Should make Lake the St. George Chief of Police

I'd venture to guess a large majority of college students are well above this level of amphetamine.
If you meant to say methamphetamine, then yes that level could produce violent behavior.

anyone see Silky Slim's rant just now?
i cleaned it up a bit, because i don't speak ebonics, but basically:
"The KKK infiltrated the police department. And when the KKK infiltrated the Baton Rouge police department. You gave KKK Salomini a license to kill a black man."

Every time something doesn't go their way, they make some bullshite up to enrage people. When the feds didn't press charges, fat Gravy kept talking about "the cops put a gun to Alton's head and said I'll kill you." Now, the State doesn't bring charges and the idiots talk about some video that the state is withholding from the public.
Just shut the frick up already you bunch of cry bitches.
