I have a Samsung that's not very different. It's several years old and had no major problems. Several minor issues. You prob have a loose connection somewhere or some other fairly simple issue.

Yeah I won’t get an ice maker next timeX it’s a frozen block of ice any way. I can’t even pull the tray out...frozen solid

Have you tried to unplug it for 5-10 minutes and then plug it back in to reset?
Just because you don't see any signs of power to it, it's getting it to a point.

Mine has been like that for a year. I stopped trying to fix it and just go buy ice from one of those little machines about once per week. The kind with the rotating trays is a terrible design.

Had a Kenmore elite side by side, made by LG or Samsung, went out after 4 years. Nice fridge with all the bells and whistles, flat out died. Now have a cheap Whirlpool side by side, so far so good.

This isn't your model, but it may help. Looks like, at least on the model in the video, that there is a fuse on the circuit board.

The fact It was basically this has me a little embarrassed.

You may look at vacuuming the dust off anything you can reach behind the rear panel.
Unscrew it and go at it.
Dust blocks airflow and forms an insulation blanket on parts that need to throw off heat, causing high temp overload protection circuits to take over until it cools.
So a little PM may be useful and prevent the next occurrence.
