Resort skiing? Pfft.
Why not climb and ski?
LINK
And I haven't done any snow skiing in the Tetons but I have done some water skiing.
That is me drowning in some cold as water.
Some chop on the lake made things difficult.

Did it alone once, stayed in the hostel, it was good and clean, the majority of the mountain is best for a person who can ski groomed blacks at any other resort. Seriously, if you stay 3/4 days, and can't ski hard blues/groomed blacks in Colorada/Utah, you'll be confined to a few runs and get bored. The town is awesome, the village is great, and when it dumps snow, it dumps. Second trip there, it was 5 days, and didn't see any color other than white, it was literally white out conditions for 2 days.

I have a few friends who moved there a few years back and never came back. One of my favorite places to visit in the world.

Awesome tilt-shift video, lanticguy!
I will be up there for Rendezvous Festival.
Any advice for what is sure to be a very busy week?

Best summer vacation anyone can take according to my family. Base was TML and covered ground in all directions/activities, stayed 2 nights in Yellowstone during 10 day vacation. Wonderful time and experience...

One year I was there from Thanksgiving to June 20th of the next year. Guess what happened on my first and last day in Jackson? You got it....it snowed.

I've only been in summer. Would go again.

Lived in Jackson summer of '93. Great place. Skied there this January for the first time. Epic conditions with over 3' in 4 days. Mountain is steep and technical but if you can ski, it's as good as it gets. Cheers and enjoy.

What's the easiest way to get to Big Sky?

I'll still be wearing my chubbies and boat shoes like a boss

What if you can't ski?
I will be sure to pack my new helmet!
