It's almost as if....it hits....ppl get infected..less hosts exist and infections go down.

Crazy theory. But, it just might be true.

Yeah, you would think people would learn by now. The story almost everywhere is the same. Shutdowns are completely futile and the thing has to run its course. California shut down early and hard, and as soon as it opened the virus was there waiting. Hopefully AZ is peaking. We'll see. We should have followed what Sweden did. We would have had pain, but we'd be past it by now. We have only prolonged our agony.

We’re still getting 70k cases a day, and almost 1000 deaths a day. Nothing has run it’s course.

I mainly agree.
But, we'd take a bit longer than Sweden.
Just such a massive country.

But, your premise I agree with.

You've been very rational throughout all this.
One of the few who saw this bullshite from the get go.

That is good news

I was hoping this was one of your deaths decreased by x % threads but I’ll take whatever good news I can get.

No shite Sherlock. And its the fault of the idiots who thought we could "shut down" and that the virus would go away. We hav shot ourselves in the nuts.

You have been an absolutely dreadful poster during this pandemic

You have this bizarre commitment to poo-poo any glimmers of hope.

It’s getting fricking old

And you have the audacity to go into the daily Louisiana threads and call for shutdowns

Funny thing I was told the other day from a plant baw buddy.
People who test positive in the plant he works in have to have 2 negative tests to come back to work. Some of those people that live check to check are going get tested every single day until they get their 2 negatives. Each one of those positive tests that they take are counted as a new positive case, nothing about it being the same person. So some plant baw might go 10 times and test positive 8 out of 10 and each one of those 8 positives are counted individually.
Its all BS.
I also wonder how sensitive the tests are to the common COVID virus (common cold) vs. only testing positive for COVID-19 specifically.

I believe we’re coming up on week 6 of the ‘hospitals in Phoenix are starting to get overwhelmed’ rhetoric
