He must have used the dog crate to get the body out of the house.
Am I missing something? You are saying he used a dog crate to get the body out the house? It would have to a rather large crate right?

People have used suitcases before, so it's certainly a possibility.

It would have to be sliced pretty good to fit inside a yorki sized crate.

well, given the dog is a Pomeranian. Either she was a tiny woman or he took a chainsaw to her.

couldn't they get the IP where the updates were posted from and track them down that way?

Anderson police Lt. David Creamer told the Daily Beast that he does not believe his office has attempted to contact Facebook in an attempt to discover who is posting these things.
"To do anything like that, we'd have to issue a search warrant to Facebook," Creamer said. "I don't know if we've done that but I'm pretty sure we have not done that. … You'd have to serve [Facebook] with a search warrant to search their records for an IP."
A Facebook spokesperson told the website that if they were served with a warrant, they would turn over "recent login/logout IP addresses … and location information."

The posts on Carver's Facebook page are very odd.

Not necessarily. Pet porters or dog crates can be large for any size dog. Some folks leave the dog in the crate during the day.

The glasses and contacts that were left behind were hers, not his. More evidence that suggests he killed her and is trying to cover up.

Couldn't agree more with this. What was taken is not nearly as damning as what was not taken. There are certain things a woman would never leave home without, even in a hurry. And keep in mind that outside of a suspected motive of an imminent threat, which is apparently not the case here, daily hygienic items and/or prescription medications are things a woman would not leave home without.

and their prescription medications were still at home.
We need to know what prescriptions these were to tell if this means anything. If it was viagra and pain pills these people are in trouble.

This is what I am thinking.. I doubt they had a crate for large dogs.. And if he is going to put a body in something, I would think he would put it in something people can't see in.

Based on the early responses to posts the first couple days they were missing, I think it's the ex-wife. Too many people close to him think its her too...and the responses in chats are crazy.
