Those parents pay like $50k per year in tuition at some of the prep schools in MD. No way in hell the connected class was going to allow them to shut down private schools.

What? The governor is ensuring that local schools and school systems retain the right to determine when they open. Who is the local official saying they can’t?

this is in response to a Public Health official trying to force private schools to close in a county in Maryland

Prince George & Montgomery counties, MD. Southern Ave is the line between DC & Capital Heights (PG) & Western divides DC & Chevy Chase (Mont). Property values are literally tripled across the street from each other bc of the schools.

ETA- got mixed up on which is which; been a while since I lived there.
