While he was coming back in I heard a someone else (another cop?) saying "now is the time to be telling us the truth" to someone. I am guessing the neighbors denied it and the cop was pushing. I didn't see this but I think it is safe to assume.
The cop said he was getting CSI out to extract the bullet.
Cop is now sitting inside his car outside my apartment waiting for CSI to arrive.

It's going to be real crazy when you notice a dead smell from next door in a few days then you realize that's the bullet the neighbor blew his brains out with.

It would be hard to deny with a bullet hole and/or gsr originating in the apartment.

Have fun with that. When someone broke into my house when I was a kid it took over an hour for "csi" to arrive.

My original thought was to just tell the apartment managers tomorrow before I head into work and let them call police and deal with it.
Then my roommate insisted we contact the police tonight and report it.

OP overheard cops talking with the neighbor. It's the victim that will start smelling, but the neighbor will move the body tonight first chance.
