So a dog or computer Ok'ed it? I guess the system has changed since I left LA.
If you parole out, three members of the parole board have to vote on whether to grant your parole or not.
If you good time out, you are released by operation of law. A person, dog, or computer do not have a say so.
I have no idea how he was released but it isn't a guarantee that somebody made the decision to release him that had the authority to not release him.

I guessing this guy was institutionalized and really could't handle free life.
Reverted back to the past and committed the same crime that got him committed to Angola.
Bottom line is, he is returned to the environment he is most comfortable in with rape and violence as a side bar.
Win-Win in his mind.

If only there was any way to know if he was voted out, or good-timed out. A system that keeps those records would be awesome.
If he was voted out, those who voted to turn him loose on society should be held liable. Then they would be more careful, and make decisions that protect the public.

Surely you can see the idiocy of suggesting a parole board member should have personal criminal liability and be subjected to their own liberty being taken away if anyone they grant parole to recidivate.
I think you are really just of the opinion that no one should be eligible for parole and everyone should have to do flat time. Which is fine. I don't disagree.

I was born in Covington and lived here until I was 26. It was always safe. Us kids would be outside from daylight until after dark. We rode our bikes from St. Paul's all over town and never had any issues. It was Beaver Cleaverville. The only place we were not allowed to go was past Houk's Appliance Store on Columbia Street. From that Cemetary by Houk's and towards the fairgrounds
was off limits.
Covington started getting bad when the New Orleans people started flooding over the Causeway and settling on the North Shore. That's when the problems began.

So much information is still not known. Where did he kill them. Why did he kill them. Were their bodies burnt where they were murdered. Did no one see the fire and smell the stench? What weapon was used. There will never be a why answered because there is none. Who was with him and what part did the play?

It's weird they haven't figured out WHERE these bodies were burned.
How do you incinerate two adult human bodies in a relatively populated area with nobody noticing nothing?

OK, I am growing tired of you doing your little lawyer thing, so I will stop playing. There is not an honest thought in you. It is all lawyer angling. Adios.

Im 99.9% sure that they know and it's really not important that the general public knows these facts at this point or ever. Right now, preservation of evidence and building a case against the monster is of the utmost importance.
ETA: Also, you might not here any details because it was super long day/night for local LEO. You had this murder, the 2 girls that went missing, and the murder/shooting in slidell. Details might take a little more time right now to come out.

Born and raised on Jahncke…actual Covington. St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s. Would leave the house unlocked and keys in the cars on our vacations to Navarre Beach. I’m 41. Where’d you grow up?

I am in my 50's and native to Covington, there is so much crime that happens here that most ppl just don't hear about. And, this is not only the 2nd homicide this year. I am proud of where I grew up, but this lil town is not quite all the same as it once was.

Maybe the criminals family member would like to take on the responsibility? Then, if he returns to a life of crime, they can both go to the farm.
I bet they would parent that bastard this time around.
