People die in National Parks all the time.
A friend was visiting Yellowstone and his leg broke; the closest hospital was way over in Idaho.
From field camp in Colorado, we got the impression that most fatalities in the mountains were hunters who couldn't handle the elevation; this included guys who had had no problems hunting there previous years.

Sure, they die of all kinds of reasons. Grand Teton is getting a bad rep on this situation.

Texas man was 10 year old bones right?
I did not see that in the article. Is this true?
If this is true, then those thinking serial killer can probably dismiss that scenario given the evidence.

No, that is not true.
The Texas man was last seen on 8/20.
I'll admit the media is doing a poor job reporting this accurately, as I just read an article with the title "Second body found in same area as Petito's, ending another missing person case". He was found 50+ miles away from Gabby.
That's like saying a body found in New Orleans is in the same area of another body found in Baton Rouge. The 2 cases are not related.
but Hey, at least people are viewing their article.. who cares if the information is accurate.

Not really. It is different when its a national park or forest because there limited entrances and exits. It is not like urbanized areas you cite.
If a serial were trolling those areas, they would be limited "hunting" grounds unlike between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. That being said, given your description I tend to agree with you, very likely the cases are not related.

That's not a publicity stunt at all.

He’s searching with K9s. The tips lead him to an area, and they are literally on ground clearing, hunting, gathering evidence.

From the first tweet it appears they are searching the DeSoto park. That's the same park the police flew the chopper over last night and reportedly used FLIR to look for him, right?

Thinking both De Soto & Egmont from the tweets

Well, they should be able to determine the caliber and if BL had possession of a weapon capable then it may be plausible.
Have you seen the photos of Gabby holding a .380 or similar caliber pistol?
Suppose it could be photoshopped but sure looks legit.
Speculating here but given the high number of shots fired in each victim, its plausible the gun used was of a small caliber.
Also the Grand Co police have made numerous ‘quasi flip-flopping’ statements regarding the “relevance” to Laundrie that only muddied their narrative that “there is no relationship”.

I also want to point out that Dog didn't show up when Gabby was reported missing. Dog didn't show up when this case made national news. Dog didn't show up when Brian was reported missing. Dog showed up after a law firm put up $20,000 for information that leads to the whereabouts and capture of Brian.

Does he need the money?
I think it’s nice that Dog is keeping the case interesting because if ppl forgot about it, they may see BL and not notice.

One day were gonna find out why penniless Brian mysteriously flew home in the middle of his vacation and it’s gonna be a part of the overall case.
Also what if Brian bought a new iPhone JUST for the SIM CARD.

So the thought process goes “I want to murder gabby soon so I better go home and clean out my storage closet”? Asking to understand.
