I, whether you want to believe it or not, would have turned it over to police and left it alone until they were finished with it. I wouldn't have attempted to capitalize on it. Nor, would I have equated it to winning the lottery, as you have for some reason.

And that would have led to her body being discovered when? I ran across their video last night when it had 18 views, 6 likes, and 1 dislike.

Within two hours(at around 3:00 am, while the search was off for the night), it had over 3,000 vie3ws and several commenters had confirmed multiple matches on the van.

The authorities woke up with a huge lead and a good idea of where to search and guess what, they found her within hours.

I don't see the need to shite on these people, just because they might benefit in some way from helping to crack this case.

That timeline would make more sense than him killing the Utah lesbians.

Legend, do you also consider history authors to be pieces of shite? They do capitalize off the misfortune of others after all. Folks like Ambrose, Foote; even Winston Churchill wrote a couple. Just trying to figure out your thought process.

I hope the Red, White, and Bethune folks are actually able to make a little money. Watching a couple of their videos it seems like their 1983 bus is always breaking down. Maybe they can afford to do a little preventative maintenance or upgrade to something a little more reliable than a worn out 30 year old bus.

Good point just mentioned, everyone is talking about her not texting her parents for days. What about friends? I don’t know her from Adam but she’d be in the 0.1% category of chicks these days if she went days without communicating with anyone. Considering she was trying to make a social media career that seems even less likely. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before, but seems strange no friends came out to the media to release some texts or messages they received?

From him to for that matter.

ETA: I mean her going days on end with no messages to anyone seems highly unlikely

Did you just ignore the "turn it over to police" part? You know......the same police already working the case. You know......the same police already searching the general area their video shows? Did you miss that part?

You left out the part where Gabby and Brian spent 6 hours in the coffee shop that one of them worked in on 8/12 and were hanging out in the same bar with them on 8/13.

Wouldn't the lesbians have recognized him and said something?

I’m just hoping if and when they find Brian, dead or alive that he at least will leave the family with an explanation of what happened.

Hopefully the autopsy will shed a little more light.

It’s very odd that there’s no evidence in the van to warrant an arrest warrant for BL.

Just really weird.

Was her dead body even ever in the van at all??

Yep. Like Dale said, they hit the lottery, for sure.

interesting theory.
one person could be an accident(even though it’s probably not in this case).

but three within 2-3weeks in the same area?
i read police have ruled out the connection though.
statistics suggest they do otherwise.

Missing YouTuber Gabby Petito had a violent argument with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie outside a Utah grocery store where a newlywed woman worked who was found murdered days later, it has emerged. The eerie coincidence between the disappearance of Ms Petito and the murders of Kylen Schulte, 24, and Crystal Turner, 38, has left residents of the small town of Moab on edge. The Moab Police Department were called to a fight between Ms Petito and her boyfriend on August 12 near the Moonflower Community Cooperative in the centre of the resort town, where Ms Schulte had worked for four years. Ms Schulte and Ms Turner were last seen leaving a bar in the town the next day, and their bodies were discovered on August 18.

Can you imagine trying to capitalize off of a young girls murder like that?

One has to reasonably assume this exploration was exhausted leading up to the missing persons report filing.

There is literally one peer-reviewed study on the reliability of cadaver dogs.
Can you link something indicating this? Just curious.

Which of these were not peer reviewed?

They uploaded the video at 1:30 am. How much sooner do you feel like the police would have located her if they had just sent it the police at 1:30 am, instead of uploading it for other people to try to match it up?

And FWIW, they had already sent it to the authorities before it was uploaded.
