If we had true justice in this country, George Floyd would be safe, sound, and alive in prison today.

There was no real justice for the victim of Floyd's (a multiple felon) crime. Five years, or less, for armed robbery/home invasion and assault of a pregnant young woman. No one gave a damn about her, not the DA, not the community, not Floyd, and not you. No one can even name that woman.

George Floyd should have never been in the position to get himself killed that day.

I'll be candid and say I have absolutely no clue if Till was a little punk. No idea if he offended a female and can deduce none of the men involved in his death knew a thing about who he was or how he acted in Chicago, either. I think what transpired in Mississippi is terrible given the reason or details they were given by the young girl.

But forget Till. This is now and about a kid who on first glance may be viewed as a soy boy. Usually a picture is all it takes to be ridiculed. Whatever. I don't care if he's 3rd chair alto sax, the kid lost his life at the hands of a swarm. A collective animalistic mob. All, according to accounts, for defending a smaller weaker kid than he even was. At fricking school. That's courage. That's empathy with a huge set. I admire that and so should you.

Want 'us' to remember Till and never repeat it? Don't continually and pervasively make Tills out of white kids/people. In closing, to me, these 15 black lives matter none to me at all. I hope they get theirs with zero mercy.
