There are no differences in men and women.
Women are physically capable of doing anything a man can do.
Women are just as strong as men.
Gender is a Social construct so perhaps in that moment he identified as a woman.
Men transitioning to women should be allowed....

Bottom line: If a woman lays her hand on a man in aggression, there should be no sympathy from anyone when she gets a response, proportional response be damned.
Additionally, if a man decides he's going to physically assault a woman for no good reason, he should have his head caved in.

That's why I qualified by saying "sane and reasonable".
In a sane, reasonable world, ANYONE who punches another person should expect to be hammered back and the person responding SHOULD be without liable....but we don't live in a sane, reasonable world and the bullshite burden of "proportional response" is applied too liberally.
Bottom line: Don't start none....

I wonder what would happen to this guy if he were armed in a stand your ground state and just shot his attackers. Would his situation be looked at differently because of his size and the fact that it was two females attacking him? Why would that be any different than being attacked by two guys and defending himself. I'm not trying to create a straw man argument. I would just like to hear what people would think if he defended himself with deadly force under those conditions.

This can't be... every action movie I ever watch tells me that women easily take out men much larger than themselves.
Obviously the dude is in the wrong for hitting a woman. At worst you give them the straight arm treatment or pin them down like you would if a 12-year old kid tries to pick a fight with you.
