Mr Bordelon right?

If you’re old enough then you remember Oil & Gas.
I probably just gave away too much information

Lynn Dean drove an old pickup truck.
There is a picture of him after he stripped down to get on a ditch to unclog a culvert while he was St Bernard Parish President.
Lived in his shop a lot.

#UPDATE: Commercial divers contracted by Seacor, Donjon Marine, were able to gain access to the lift boat and located two unresponsive crewmembers. Diving operations will continue through the night and be evaluated each hour to ensure safe diving conditions. U.S. Coast Guard crews will continue to search overnight with air and surface assets for the missing crewmembers of the capsized Seacor Power lift boat offshore #PortFourchon.

If it's the man I think it is, he was talking about retiring some time over the next few months.

08 I’m sick about so much this week. How can you feel so deeply sad about people you never knew?
Edit by “you” I mean me too.

I could teach you a 40 hour class on this but it would cost you

I hardly know anything about O&G as you put it.
But I’ve forgotten more about the marine industry than you will ever learn

Looking at it now on Tugboat Information. I said Bordelon, meant Laborde.
Do you read Tugboat Information? Good info there and all of the old boats and companies.
I like the pictures of those boats Nolty Theriot would build coming into the harbor at Great Yarmouth, Most went to the North Sea as you know.
They would build those under the oak trees on the 308 side of Bayou Lafourche. They only had drawings of the bulkheads. Everything else was eyeballed as they built it. Cabins, curves of the gunnels, stern. All eyeballed. That’s some coonasse for sure.
In fact Nolty had stickers that had a picture of a coon and RCA ( popular electronics manufacturers at the time ) in big caps. Registered Coon arse.
Everybody wanted a RCA sticker for their briefcase or hard hat. He was a showman.
I had some of the best times of my life running around down Bayou Lafourche in the 60’s,70’sand 80’s.
Hit the Glow Room a lot and ate quite a few late night breakfasts at the Inferno.

This just me wondering and thinking. Not rumor material.
If the divers got into the boat late, they didn’t get to go too far. This might be the two guys that went back in.
This is pure speculation and my thinking. I don’t want a rumor started
