The one that has been arrested is a former employee there. She probably knew him.

perp's parents lived in a decent house and had a newer Benz. Looks like he probably hung with a crowd to "keep it real" more than for need. Definitely not the hood.

Sadly it was probably the girl that was killed. Labor pool is not exactly teeming in Kenner.
Sadly a lot of companies only check for felonies and certain types of lesser charges.
There is a guy working where I work that was on death row in levenworth KS for murder while in the military. Since it all happened 35 yrs ago and it was military it didn't show up on a regular background check. He's a great worker and very friendly. He eventually got out due to the MPs at the time screwing up the initial arrest.

This makes me depressed. Why did they have to kill this poor kid? I guarantee she wasn't trying to put up a fight.
