In Lviv, a city in near the Polish border 280 miles west of Kiev, hundreds of activists burst Thursday into the office of regional governor Oleh Salo, a Yanukovych appointee, shouting "Revolution!" and singing Christmas carols.
After surrounding him and forcing him to sign a resignation letter, an activist ripped it out of Salo's hands and lifted it up to the cheers and applause of the crowd.

Nothing leaked out about the meetings?

Supposedly they are still in the meeting.

18:08 GMT: The ceasefire called for the duration of the negotiations between officials and opposition leaders expired at 1800 GMT, though the politicians are still talking behind closed doors. So far there has been no violence; Klitschko implored his supporters to refrain from aggressive moves before the end of the talks.

blistery cold on the front lines
6* degrees in Kyiv right now and it feels like -1
lows will be approaching 0 and "feels like" -10* over next 3-4 days
high temps will not exceed 10* degrees and winds up to 10 mph , more snow in forecast
I need to send those people some gumbo

So, is it Yah-NOOK-oh-vitch, or Yanu-KOVITCH?

i somewhat agree with this, but Kiev and The Ukraine is what we have been taught in America, so it's kinda hard not to go with what you're accustomed to
I might be mistaken but I can't say I've ever seen "The Ukraine" until TN Bhoy told us that that's what the Russians call it. I've only seen "Ukraine," however Kiev vs Kyiv is new to me.

That would be a huge shocker if they did arrest Klitschko. Just watched the video of the Berkut mocking a captured protestor. Stripped him naked and humiliated him.

If those protesters found out they arrested him, those cops and many of the protesters will be dead soon.

“This morning, a great number of dead bodies started arriving to the mortuary at Oranzhereyna Street. It was not just one car; every half an hour another arrives. Majority of them are victims of clashes in Hrushevskoho Street and maybe some AudoMaidan activists that were kidnapped last night. It was confirmed at the mortuary. Its staff are shocked. All bodies are brought into the room for homeless and undocumented. The bodies were not identified, yet, since no one is allowed in. However, next door there is a funeral home (3 Oranzhereyna Street) and they have surveillance cameras. It’s possible to identify the license plates of the cars bringing the bodies, if you request their video recordings. “Berkut” itself was bringing them.”
