You go to a lot of places, but you don't really travel.

I've been all over Europe, gotten to know the people, built long-standing business relationships, been to their "houses".

Texas>>>>>> Europe, especially the parts with Europeans in it.

from a purely work standpoint you’re right, but just about all we do when I’m not working is travel

same, going to France in a couple of weeks to stay at friends chateaux near Bordeaux

we’ve gotten to be great friends with a lot of my wife’s clients and we rarely stay in hotels there anymore, going to the Olympics in February, we’ll rent a place there for a week or so and then stay with friends

gotcha, Texas is big alright, but a lot of it is off the grid and almost uninhabitable

Texas belongs to cattle. I think close to 75% of the human population lives in less than 5% of the state's land.

The lovely parts aren’t what I’m talking about.

It’s the parts where the cops refuse to go and where there are rashes of acid and knife attacks.

Yet those Brits travelled here but most Americans can’t afford to go to England. Idk. Maybe they just value different things? Like they live more frugally but have extra to travel?

Plenty of people can, they just don't want to. America is awesome. England kinda sucks arse.
