UC Berkely Website
"Some of you are aware of the tragic death earlier this week of third-year UC Berkeley student Seth Smith. Seth was walking near his off-campus apartment on Dwight Way on Monday evening when he was shot and fatally wounded."
"We realize this is a difficult time for those of you who knew Seth. It is important to know that individuals may express their grief differently and we need to respect the different ways people react and support each other in the days and weeks ahead. Many of you may have had a close relationship with Seth and are feeling a sense of loss and disbelief. Others, like many of us, are experiencing stress, grief and anxiety related to the coronavirus pandemic and the recent murders of George Floyd, Riah Milton, and other Black Americans."

His life doesn’t seem to matter to the chancellor.

Nearly half of this country has gone off the deep end. Like to a point of no return.
I don't want to associate myself with them. I don't consider them "my fellow American" anymore. I know this seems pretty drastic for just this one story but, these articles pop every single day.
I really think it would be beneficial to eventually split up and secede from these people

A kid is murdered and this is what the chancellor is stressed by? Good to know that the unlawful killing of a career criminal in a location that is in another time zone carries more weight than a good kid at the school you preside over being murdered.

frick that guy.
Not the dead guy. The chancellor.

Sure, use this poor kid’s murder as an excuse for more useless pandering.
Make...it...stop...

The Chancellor is an old white lady.

This treatment shouldn't be a surprise to anyone consciously enrolling in Berkeley.

They never miss an opportunity to virtue signal even in the murder of a student (who was almost certainly killed by a minority)

Can it happen peacefully this time, please?

To me, these comments are worse than what the guy at the car dealership posted that got him fired. However, this woman surely won't be fired. Living in some fricked times people.

Who is “you”? And who is “us”?
They don’t even try to be subtle anymore

She doesn't mourn for her student, but does for Floyd. Un-fricking believable.
