Not as much as you would think. Wholesale value for average indoor is about $2,000/pound. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
If I had to guess, somehwere around $25,000. Could be as low as $12,000.
I doubt these guys are breaking it up. it's just too much product to move. Too many people touch it. If sold a quarter of an ounce at a time the yield on a pound is about $6,000

The key part of this story not being talked about is that the cops didn't kill these two. Perhaps they did not flee, pull out a gun, or resist arrest in any manner.

So they were actually caught with 24#, if 12 made it to evidence.
