Nope. Those young, well to do white males just spew nonsense and are supposed to just roll over and take it. According to one particular COA supporter.

The COA programs are not the issue for me. It's how much they are spending on shite that does not touch those it is intended for and the criminal director.

IIRC, the only way to remove her is if their board votes her out, and that may not happen.

They go once a week to the central location. My mom used to go there to play cards and she was far from poor. Some old folks are lonely and need companionship.

they don't need $80M to fund those programs

hence why they continued to bring up the meals they served and talk about how seniors in BR starve on the weekend, etc

That being said. I did hear one senior as he walked away from the podium state very loudly:

"That money is ours, we earned it and we deserve it."

No clue what is going through someone's mind to say that but it seemed to be very much the attitude of the majority of people in red t-shirts. I almost opened my mouth to point out that the money is actually MINE since I pay property taxes and that being old and/or minority doesn't entitle you to my stuff. But I knew better and didn't say shite. Silent majority strikes out again.

So at the current rate of 50% of their funding going to salary they will pay just under $40 million to themselves over the next 10 years.

And the current MC member on the board continues to blindly support the COA.

She's currently at $107k, correct?

I'll set it at $135k + $700/mo car allowance + $115/mo cell phone allowance

i'll bet she's going to get some choice appointments within the LA DEM party and probably get full support for a seat or 2 within 5 years

even if her tears were legit, that just shows she's emotionally compromised and is not thinking rationally

Parish attorney said on mic that they had to levy something, up to the 2.2. If there was the violation of that she certainly would have mentioned it. she was quite sharp and handled the constant questions very well.

Who was the Parish Attorney. Those fricks can eat dicks as well. If you don't recall more than two of the a few years ago justifying why they deserved full-time pay for their services to the Parish AND were allowed to run full time private practices.

I distinctly remember one of them being quoted about the Parish Attorney salary not being enough to support a family yet it was higher than mine.
frick them. They are corrupt as the COA

I doubt she will be getting any kind of raise. Even a cost of living raise would be out of line.
