Nah

I mean every big city has problems right now for sure. But Atlanta is different in a number of ways. No other city has the suburban minority influx Atlanta has. Nor does any other city (with some exception for Houston and DC) have the black middle class Atlanta has. In Atlanta, if you open a stylish brunch restaurant or a high end Swiss watch retailer, you're going to have customers who look nothing like equivalent places in every other city in the country. Some of that is legit, because Atlanta has more wealthy black people than any other place in the world. But it also means that thugged out teens are going to roam Neiman Marcus because it's impossible to distinguish them from some 19 year old rapper who might actually have money.

Nobody wants to talk about this stuff because it's uncomfortable, but our challenges are unique, IMO.

When you describe it that way it actually makes sense. You have valid points.

There is plenty of culture here.

The suburbs do. We are discussing the actual city.

Downtown blows.

Midtown in the mid to late 90’s made downtown irrelevant. There’s literally no reason to go downtown anymore. Everything you need is in Midtown or surrounding residential neighborhoods.

Traffic blows. Sports teams have no local support. Crime is out of control. Democrats. Bullets. Murder. Theft. Rape.

And Cincinnati is better? Cincinnati is a shithole and one of the most boring cities along with Cleveland in America.

The Braves had the 2nd highest attendance in MLB last year. How did the Reds fare in that department IYO?

Keep digging your hole and moving the goalposts.

I mean, we just won the World Series with a home crowd environment that was praised by the entire sports world

Not to mention consistently packing out 40-80k (depending on stadium setup) for mundane MLS games a few years ago.

If you want to dick measure I’ll be happy too…

With very similar demographics Cincinnati ranks higher in every single metric…

Quality of life
Cost of living
Food & drink
Entertainment
Crime

You need to. We make it a point to stop there every time we come through the city on our way home. We stopped by Monday on our way back from Chattanooga. Their ice cream is insane.

Summerhill is completely different from just 15 years ago.

Sadly this will probably get blamed on the gun, racism and the milk shake machine not working.

Cincinnati is a dump. It’s boring. It’s in a State that is mostly Rust Belt. Companies knew this in the 70’s when they fled your shithole to relocate to places like Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. Corporations couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Bitch, please.

Notice you left out the two most important things, weather and women. I don't blame you b/c we run circles around almost every other major city(save San Diego) in those departments.

Very factual. Except Cincinnati has expanded by 7 fortune 1000 business in the last decade. Archored by fortune 30’s Procter and Gamble and the Kroger Company.

Do you just make shite up hoping to pass it?!

Aren’t you the same guy that tried to tell me there were Hispanics in city of Atlanta and is completely clueless about the demographics or the actual trends here the last 20 years?
