I have a Samsung 65 inch TV. I bought it 2 years ago and didn't get a warranty. It turns on and off. Apparently this is a Samsung issue from what I have read.
Any repair people y'all know of in the area you would recommend.
Much appreciated.

I've used Sherwood TV in the past. I usually just toss em now. They almost aren't worth fixing anymore.

This is pretty much how most folks see it. Getting a repairman out to see what's wrong is probably going to cost $75 or more, then there's the part/parts needed and the cost of installing them. Chances are very high he won't have the part on hand and will have to order it. You'll likely be into it for a few hundred dollars after that.
Although 2 years out of a new TV really sucks.

I fixed a 52" Sony. Bought the main board on ebay for $30 and replaced the main board. If you know what to replace and can operate a screw driver. Its pretty easy to fix them if it's not the LED panel.
Look on youtube and you can probably find a how to on your model tv.

2 years is the new 5 years. Just buy a new one and prepare to get another one in 2-3 more years.

Unless you can fix it yourself, I wouldn't bother. You could have them fix it, and whatever caused it to malfunction the first time, could happen again.

I was reading about a lot of issues in forums and videos about the transistor failure for power on samsung tvs. I just wanted to give a try before I am paying if really not needed. I opened the tv and disconnected the cable buses and connected again. It is working good now. Will keep an eye on that and contact an expert is really it happens again.
