3-5 minutes per pound. Outdoor temperatures can affect cooking time. Peanut oil allows you to fry a few minutes extra and not overcook it. 180 in the breast is done.

I went with 3.25 min/lb at about 340F.

Done with Bird 1.

Bird 2 halfway done.


And I only use peanut oil.
