Thankfully, in the town square, a place called Tiger Pause, had takeout available. I chose the Obama Special, a grilled turkey cheese sandwich that hit the spot.

Another classic.

TulaneLSU,

I must admit that everyday I search each of the boards looking for one of your threads. Your threads always deliver and provoke thought.
Cheers,

Friends,

All of you are too kind. I hope one day we can all take a vacation together. What a trip that would be!

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Dude, unfortunately attendance in all churches has gone down over the years. Don’t use your historical thread to sneak in a jab at the Protestant church. I think you will find the same trend in Catholicism.

The campus is pretty nice and is worth touring. The town is sad and has been for many years. A lot of the Tuskegee students live in Auburn. At one time Tuskegee supposedly held the distinction of being the only place where Walmart closed down and left.

If you ever go back, make sure you go to the George Washington Carver museum. It is fascinating and you learn a lot about the man. Tuskegee has some wonderful history.
